Sleep Cream

My 8 year old daughter is going through this lovely phase I am calling tween syndrome. One day it was puppy dogs and rainbows, the next it was Instagram and posters of teen heart throb Cameron Boyce. She is testing boundaries and my patience. 😥

She announced this week she will no longer be using her diffuser and wants it promptly removed. She was rearranging her room and discarding her “baby” toys. I had no problem removing all things Frozen related, but there was no way the diffuser was going. After a small battle a compromise was made, it was just placed as far away from her bed as possible!

Neither of my kids are great sleepers, and prefer me to hang out in their rooms until they are asleep. I have no problem with this, knowing some day soon they will no longer require my presence. Tonight being the last night if Christmas vacation she had a tough time falling asleep. I patiently waited as she tossed and turned. After 15 minutes of I can’t go to sleep, I casually asked, “want the sleep cream?” Yes, she replied. Oh thank heavens I thought! I quickly grabbed my premade roller and applied it to her back. “How long will it take,” she asked? A few minutes was my reply and no more than 3 minutes later she was out! I would have given it to her earlier but I wanted her to bed ready to accept my help. Either way, I love these oils!!
