I’m not one for resolutions. For the last 10 years I instead chose to do One Little Word. In case you’ve never heard the concept is to pick a word that will embody how you want to move through the year. Here it is the 2nd full week and I have not chosen a word yet this year. I started with a list of 7 words and have whittled it down to 2. Those two words are what propelled me to write this today. So with my two words in mind I want to share a deck that will be playing a huge role this year in how I do my new readings. This year I will be focused on a new type of reading that I call Burn Sessions. A Burn Session is a 4 part action oriented tarot reading and coaching session that are intuitively channeled with guidance to unlock your authentic self. We will use a set of questions to help uncover where you are stuck, where you need to go and how to get there. Homework like journaling and meditations will be provided along with a snippet of my future book Cosmic Graffiti which makes use of symbol work to help unlock synchronicities and next steps.
The deck that will play a heavy role in these readings is, Wisdom of the Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid. Colette says this deck was a channeled inspiration that, “this deck wanted to be personified as an Oracle living inside the cards, acting as the intermediary between you and Spirit, revealing your fate and destiny. If you look closely, you will see her wise and loving face in every card.”
This is such a simple looking deck but it’s so unusual. I do not necessarily always use the reference book but like every reading I intuitively use the cards to help channel what my clients need to hear. You can feel the Oracle within this deck. The ethereal artwork certainly helps stir emotions, create breakthroughs and epiphanies, which then provides a diverse landscape and insight that other decks don’t have. When I use this deck the discernment comes in such interesting and distinct ways. This deck found me when I was searching for something new, I thought it would have been a new modality to learn but instead it was a new venue to share insights.

Events
This month I have two events if you are local both on the same day and at the same place. Malissa aka Soul’s Destiny and I will be hosting a sound bath where you can come relax and have a multisensory experience via frequency that may help you to explore your own mind, feel more calm which will be accomplished with crystal sound bowls, chimes, bells, and drums. The sound bath will be held inside the Get Fit Gym’s yoga room at 25 Scotland Blvd Bridgewater, Ma. 1/25 @5pm.
The second event will be held immediately following at 6 pm. Malissa will be facilitating a reiki share while I facilitate a tarot share. If you have a tarot deck and want to practice giving a reading in a safe supportive environment this is the place for you! Feel free to bring your own deck but a few decks will be on hand as well. As for reiki if you are a practitioner or have been attuned this is a supportive environment to both give and receive. Tables will be provided.
