An ethical tarot reader is someone who helps others listen to their own intuitions and guides. The purpose of my readings is to uplift, empower, provide clarity, and understanding, to help you move forward with grace and ease. We do not live on a fixed path, and therefore I do not believe we can predict the future as much as show you a path for your highest and best. Being an ethical reader is of the utmost importance to me! These are my standards and how I run my business.
- 1. I will never do any research on you. I will not google you, look you up on social media, or learn anything about you before you come for a reading.
- 2. If I don’t know the answer to your question, or am unable to interpret a card I am going to tell you that.
- 3. I always speak with openness and honesty. I know that no one comes for half-truths. I will tell you about what I sense, feel, hear, or see, and give that information with compassion and love. I do not hide negative or disappointing information but I will find a balance between sugar-coating and being too brutal either.
- 4. I will not nickel and dime you, or upsell you. I may tell you things you can do, and share resources with you that are mine and other people’s but you are never obligated to purchase them.
- 5. If for some odd reason, I cannot make a connection and give you a reading I will be 100% upfront about that. Your money will be refunded after I have tried to get you to relax and feel safe in the environment. It is extremely rare this will happen, in 25+ years it’s never happened.
- 6. I am not a lawyer, attorney, doctor, financial advisor, or psychologist, and will not be giving out that type of advice in any way shape, or form. I have a wonderful list of recommendations on this page you can check out under the Resources tab.
- 7. Confidentiality is extremely important to me. I will be giving out any details of what we discussed or what I discussed with another client including your mother, child, spouse, or significant other. Please do not put me in that position.
- 8. However, I am under obligation to break our confidentiality if one of my clients speaks of intentions to harm themselves or others, or if the client has committed a significant crime such as murder or rape. Under these circumstances, I would report them to the authorities.
- 9. I do not recommend weekly intuitive sessions. I may ask you to wait to have another reading done. I always remind my clients they do not need me, as they have their own beautiful intuition they can use and develop.
- 10. I reserve the right to not read someone for a variety of reasons at any time. Please do not come to a session if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- 11. I will not intentionally pry or conduct a reading to see what someone else is feeling or doing. I will give messages if they come up, but I will not further tap into someone’s else energy without permission.
- 12. My readings are non-judgmental, and I welcome clients of all cultures, religions, spiritual paths, sexual orientations, and gender identity.
